Data Center Infrastructure Solution for a High-Speed Railway Station in Guangdong, China

[Abstract]: A high-speed railway station in Guangdong deployed GOTTOGPOWER 40kVA modular UPS, precision cooling system, battery backup, and intelligent monitoring platform to ensure high-reliability power protection and smart infrastructure management for mission-critical operations.

1. Project Background

A high-speed railway station in a city in Guangdong Province upgraded its mission-critical server room infrastructure to support rapidly increasing digital traffic from ticketing, signaling, surveillance, broadcasting, and communication systems. To ensure uninterrupted operations, the facility required a highly reliable, scalable, and intelligently monitored power and cooling environment.

2. Solution

The project deployed the GOTTOGPOWER 40kVA intelligent modular UPS system, small-scale server room air conditioning units, room-level precision air conditioners, VRLA battery banks, and an integrated infrastructure monitoring system.

The modular UPS system provides high availability power protection with hot-swappable modules, ensuring continuous operation of critical railway IT loads. The battery system guarantees backup autonomy during grid instability or outage scenarios.

For environmental control, a combination of small room air conditioners and precision cooling systems was implemented to maintain stable temperature and humidity conditions across different functional zones of the server room.

An intelligent power and environment monitoring platform was also deployed, enabling real-time visibility of UPS status, battery health, temperature, humidity, air conditioning performance, and alarm events, significantly improving operational efficiency and maintenance responsiveness.

3. Project Outcome

The upgraded infrastructure significantly improved system stability and resilience for the railway station’s core operations. It enhanced power continuity, optimized thermal management, and enabled centralized intelligent monitoring, providing a robust foundation for future digital expansion and smart transportation services.
